Born in 1976 in Kyoto Prefecture, he has planned and directed commercials and music videos. After winning numerous domestic and international awards, he became a freelance filmmaker.<\/p>\n

2019 Wish Cocktail starring Jun Kunimura (Special Screening at SSFF & ASIA)<\/p>\n

2020 Docking! (Selected for SSFF & ASIA)
\nGIFT starring Naomi Nishida (Certified by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology)
\nSpecial screening of Shinya Kawakami Short Film Collection at Uplink Kichijoji.<\/p>\n

2021 Wrote and directed the horror drama series Shiyu Gakuryoko (30 episodes) on the vertical theater app smash, based on an original story by Yasushi Akimoto and starring Shiho Kato & Suzuka Tomita from Hinatazaka46.<\/p>\n

2022 Selected as a screenwriter for an original commercial feature film under the Agency for Cultural Affairs’ ndjc project.
\nCollaborated with producers Akihisa Yamamoto (Drive My Car), Takayoshi Oe (Walt Disney Japan), and Sachiko Tanaka (screenwriter, film critic).<\/p>\n

2023 Chosen as Japan’s representative for the NHK Sundance Institute Feature Film Program.<\/p>\n

2024 “Like bamboo, like bamboo shoot” starring Taro Suruga (Selected for SSFF & ASIA).
