It is held every February at Madarao Kogen in Iiyama City, and in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been trying its hand at online distribution since 2021. It promotes film through exchanges between high school film directors from Scandinavia and Japan, and screens selected short films from Scandinavia and Japan on a screen made of snow. This unique film festival marks its 18th year.
